DESIGN SUMMIT
This was a complete project campaign for Crown Equipment's Design Summit offsite. The concept-to-completion design work included posters, lanyards, and presentations. I took direction directly from the Manager of Design Services and worked on the project almost exclusively on my own.

16 PERSONALITIES
A large portion of the offsite event was centered around “16 Personalities,” which is an online quiz similar to the Myers-Briggs type indicator. My design needed to feel cohesive with the existing style of the brand. Below is a selection of illustrations from the 16 Personalities site; the geometric, origami-esque characters represent each unique personality code, and I was challenged with designing a system around them.
SKETCHES
The preliminary research and iteration phases of this project were broad; I was given creative freedom to explore a variety of deliverables for the event. Many of my sketches were of name tag, lanyard, and booklet layouts. I made a comparison between the “summit” and the journey of discovering our personalities, so the outdoors/hiking theme fit perfectly.

DIGITAL ITERATIONS
I developed a geometric triangle pattern to accompany the 16 Personalities characters,
and this custom pattern was utilized in a variety of ways, from name tags to lanyards
to presentation slides. This pattern was used more subtly in a few summit-themed illustrations as well.

DELIVERABLES
It was so neat to see the event attendees wearing the lanyards and name tags I designed! Each name tag correlated with that individual’s personality, and the lanyards were a neutral blue version of custom pattern. My designs were also utilized for supplementary pieces, like coffee cups, posters, and notebooks.
